Step 1 - Leak often occurs when a mask’s seal is compromised by movement, incorrect fitting or improper sizing.
Step 2 - To find a source of leak, run your finger along the edge of your mask’s seal. Once located, adjust the headgear.
Step 3 - Resolve any leak in the upper part of the mask by adjusting the upper straps.
Step 4 - Resolve lower mask leak with the lower straps.
Step 5 - If leak persists, reseal by briefly pulling the mask away from your patient's face and letting the cushion reinflate.
Step 6 - If leak continues, your patient may need a different size mask. Try our sizing guide or use a different size mask.
