Mobility and portability

Stellar is light, small and designed for mobility. It features an internal battery with a three-hour capacity3 and can be connected to the ResMed Power Station II, an external battery with an eight-hour capacity4 if needed. The Stellar mobility bag provides protection for the device and accessories, allowing access to the user interface – even when on the move.

Comfortable, auto-adjusting support

Stellar offers adaptive features such as iVAPS,1 a Volume Assured Pressure Support (VAPS) mode with an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) for efficacy, synchrony and comfort. iVAPS automatically adapts to the patient’s changing needs by monitoring their actual ventilation and respiratory rate in relation to their target ventilation and respiratory rate. Patients prefer iVAPS to standard pressure support ventilation, which can lead to longer use of NIV.5

When Stellar is connected to our secure, cloud-based patient management system, ResMed AirView for Ventilation, you’ll have access to key patient therapy data to help you proactively identify issues for early interventions, manage your Stellar patients more efficiently and collaborate for optimized patient care. AirView for Ventilation offers advanced features including interactive multi-program reporting, dynamic detailed reporting and management by exception to easily prioritize patients needing intervention through automated patient triage.
