Managing leaks with your AirTouch F20

  1. When your mask’s seal is compromised by movement or a poor fit, you sometimes get leaks.
  2. To find a source of a leak, run a finger along the edge of your mask’s seal. Once you’ve located the leak, adjust your headgear.
  3. You may stop leaks in the upper part of your mask by adjusting the upper straps, and adjusting the lower straps to stop lower mask leaks.
  4. If a leak persists, turn off your device and pull your mask away from your face. Allow your cushion to reassume its natural shape and then gently resettle it on your face. The cushion should sit on the top of your nasal bridge.
  5. If you still have leaks, you may need a different size mask. Try our sizing guide or speak to your healthcare provider about getting a mask in a different size.

Maintaining your AirTouch F20

  1. To optimize your therapy, your mask should be checked regularly for signs of damage and deterioration.
  2. When cleaning your mask, you should also check each component for damage. Your cushion, frame, tubing, elbow and headgear should all be regularly checked for cracks and tears. Refer to the user guide for more information on replacement.
  3. If any component of your mask is cracked or torn, it may need a replacement.
