ResMed has won a Red Dot Product Design Honorable Mention for 2015 for its AirSense™ 10 and AirCurve™ 10 device series. With more than 25 years of innovation excellence under its belt, ResMed’s products have a strong global reputation for their sophisticated, life-altering technology and simple, lightweight, and sleek designs.
Red Dot is the world’s largest and most renowned design competition. This year, 4,928 entries were submitted by manufacturers, designers, and architects from 56 countries. This is ResMed’s third year being recognized by Red Dot, having won two awards in 2014 for its AirFit P10™ nasal pillow masks and Astral 150™ life support ventilator, and one in 2010 for its S9™ Series.

Both the AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 series of devices feature stylish designs with a range of new cutting-edge algorithms to improve patients’ acceptance of therapy, and are compatible with ResMed’s AirView™ patient monitoring software to track, analyze and report patients’ usage and compliance as well as make the devices’ statuses visible to healthcare providers.
Introduced in August 2014, the AirSense 10 CPAP and APAP devices deliver superior patient comfort and cost-saving efficiency for healthcare providers as the cornerstone of ResMed Air Solutions connected care platform. Each device features connected care, remote device settings changes and troubleshooting, optional integrated HumidAir™ heated humidification, AutoRamp comfort feature, and simple, elegant user-friendly controls for patient confidence.
The AirCurve 10 series, first launched in December 2014, is made up of three bilevel devices for specialized support of challenging sleep apnea cases, as well as an adaptive servo-ventilation device for patients with central sleep apnea or Cheyne-Stokes respiration. AirCurve 10 devices feature TiControl time limits available to both providers and patients, trigger sensitivity settings, Vysnc advanced leakage management technology, and HumidAir™ heated humidification.
