We love what we do and it shows. We’re storytellers with heart and our stories are always about your best interest. Every mask we design begins with a simple belief: your health matters. Your sleep matters. Your happiness matters. And when sleep apnea goes untreated, it doesn’t just steal your nights — it can quietly shape your days, your energy, your relationships and your long-term health. The consequences are real and they’re why we feel a sense of urgency about getting therapy right from the very first night. That’s why we’re passionately driven to build masks that help you start therapy, stay on it and actually feel good wearing it.

If you’re starting CPAP therapy — or thinking about it — you might be wondering whether a mask will feel comfortable, whether it’ll stay sealed when you toss and turn or whether it’ll keep you (and your partner) up at night. We understand those worries because we’ve heard them, studied them and designed against them for years. We’ve been rigorously insightful about what gets in the way of therapy and fearlessly curious about what makes it stick. Comfort shouldn’t be a barrier to better sleep. It should be the reason you stay.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce the AirTouch™ F40 — a tube-down full face mask that’s small in size and big on comfort. Built on the trusted AirFit™ F40 platform, the AirTouch F40 adds a unique fabric softness to a lightweight, minimalist design with proven performance, all to deliver comfort from night one.

Think of it as the mask you wished you’d had from the start: a soft, breathable fabric-fused silicone cushion that sits gently under your nose, contours to your face and helps keep a secure seal that moves with you as you sleep.

Comfort that meets you where you are

We’ve spent years listening to patients and one truth comes through every time: comfort isn’t a luxury on therapy — it’s the foundation of staying with it. When a mask feels good from the very first fit, you’re more likely to keep it on, night after night. That’s not a marketing line. It’s what the data tells us and it’s what we hear from patients every single day.

The AirTouch F40 features a ComfiSoft™ fabric-fused silicone cushion — a soft, breathable, moisture-wicking 2 fabric layer designed to feel cool and comfortable on your skin. The fabric naturally contours to your face, delivering a light-as-air touch and comfort from the first night. 1 We designed it this way because we believe your first night should feel like the beginning of something better — not something to endure.

And the proof is in how patients feel about it:

    • 91% of patients rated the AirTouch F40 comfortable or very comfortable on initial fitting.1
    • In a Resmed study, patients preferred the AirTouch F40 over the AirFit F40 for material and cushion comfort. 1
    • 75% of patients rated the mask good or excellent for the freedom to switch sleep positions and sleep in their preferred position. 3

Because comfort and confidence go hand in hand, 72% of patients felt confident or very confident remaining on therapy with the AirTouch F40 mask system. 4 That’s what we mean by comfort from night one — not just a soft cushion, but the peace of mind that you can stay on track.

A seal you can trust, designed to move with you

We know that a comfortable mask still needs to do its job: deliver your therapy consistently, all night long. A mask that feels soft but leaks isn’t a solution — it’s a frustration. That’s why we paired the fabric comfort of the AirTouch F40 with AdaptiSeal™ technology — soft silicone without rigid plastic components that adapts to your facial contours and movement across sleep positions, helping maintain a secure seal. Comfort and performance, working together instead of against each other.

The results speak to that reliability:

    • 78% of patients found the AirTouch F40 provided a good or excellent seal.5
    • In an external clinical study, the AirTouch F40 demonstrated similar performance to the AirFit F40 across seal, overall comfort, ease of use and overall performance. 6

So you can rest easy knowing your mask is working — even when you’re not lying perfectly still.

    Hello sleep. Goodbye disruption.

If you share a bed, you know that a quiet mask matters for both of you. Sleep apnea is hard enough on a relationship without adding a noisy mask to the equation. We’ve listened to countless partners tell us how much they value a peaceful bedroom — and we took that to heart. The AirTouch F40 uses the same QuietAir™ diffused venting as the AirFit F40, designed to softly diffuse exhaled air for a more peaceful night’s sleep.

    • The QuietAir vent operates at just 20 A-weighted decibels (DBA) — whisper-quiet performance throughout the night. 7
    • 100% of patients found the AirTouch F40 vent had little to no disruption to their sleep.8
    • 100% of patients said the airflow from the vent had little to no disruption to their bed partner.8

Quiet therapy isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s one more way we help you — and the people you love — sleep better, because everyone in the bedroom deserves a restful night.

    Minimalist design, big on comfort

We believe a mask should feel like it belongs in your life, not like something you have to work around. Nobody wants a mask that feels bulky or leaves marks. The AirTouch F40 is UltraCompact and lightweight — only 105 G / 3.7 OZ. 9 Its under-the-nose cushion design means there’s no contact on the nasal bridge, removing the potential for irritation and red pressure marks.

The curved, flexible frame also gives you a clear line of sight, so you can read, watch TV or wind down before bed without feeling closed in. We wanted a mask that fades into the background of your evening — so you can focus on unwinding, not on your gear. In an overnight study, more than half (66%) of patients said they would choose the AirTouch F40 or AirFit F40 over their own current mask. 6

Small in size. Big on comfort. That’s the whole idea.

Easy to fit, easy to live with

Therapy should fit into your life — not the other way around. We designed the AirTouch F40 to be simple to put on, take off and adjust, because we’ve learned that the easier a mask is to use, the more likely you are to keep using it. And staying on therapy is the whole point.

    • Magnetic clips make it simple to place and remove the mask without needing to readjust your headgear.
    • A quick-release elbow lets you disconnect from therapy easily without removing the mask.
    • At setup, 97% of patients rated the AirTouch F40 easy or very easy to fit and adjust and 80% didn’t require any assistance to get a good seal and comfort. 10
    • 100% of patients found it easy or very easy to connect and disconnect from therapy.11

The fabric-fused cushion can also be washed, 12 so keeping your mask fresh is straightforward. And because the AirTouch F40 covers the same wide fit range as the AirFit F40 4, it’s easy to find the size that’s right for you. We believe finding your fit shouldn’t be a struggle — it should be the easy part.

More than a mask: support that connects to you

Your mask is just the start. We’ve always believed that the best therapy doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens when you’re supported, guided and connected. Paired with Resmed AirSense™ 10 and 11 devices and apps like myAir™, the AirTouch F40 becomes part of a connected system that delivers personalized support and guidance.

From first fit to every night after, your mask works seamlessly with your device, while myAir provides tailored tips, feedback and personalized support — helping you stay comfortable and on track. Setup feels guided and supported, so getting started with therapy is easier and less overwhelming. We don’t want you to figure it out alone — we want you to feel held from the very beginning.

And the connection makes a real difference: among patients using Air10 or Air11 devices with myAir, those using AirFit™ and AirTouch™ masks showed a 2% increase in 90-day compliance compared with the average of masks in myAir. 13 Patients using myAir are also twice as likely to meet CMS 90-day adherence criteria, with over 80% remaining engaged after one year. 14 Staying on therapy shouldn’t depend on willpower alone — it should be supported by tools that meet you where you are.

You’re not in this alone — and with connected care, you don’t have to feel like you are.

A mask designed to help you start — and stay — on therapy

We believe the best mask is one you’ll actually want to wear. With the AirTouch F40, we set out to remove the barriers that make therapy hard: an uncomfortable cushion, an unreliable seal, a noisy vent, a complicated fit. What’s left is something simple, soft and quietly effective. Because when the obstacles fall away, what remains is the chance to sleep well — and to wake up to better days.

Maximum comfort. Minimalist design. That’s the AirTouch F40.

Your journey to better sleep starts here. And we’ll be with you every night of it.
