- Source:Data is derived from an analysis of new PAP therapy patients in the United States using AirView and myAir platforms. Patients were included if myAir setup occurred from 7 days before through 14 days after the AirView setup date (i.e., −7 to +14 days) and valid mask data were available. Compliance (90-day) was assessed for setups between November 2024 and May 2025. Compliance was defined as PAP use for ≥4 hours per night on ≥70% of nights during any consecutive 30-day period within the first 90 days of therapy, with the AirView setup date counted as day 1. AirTouch N30i (85.62%, n=6,160) vs. AirFitN30i (79.96%, n=22,898). Data on file, ID: A5707362. AirTouch N30i features a ComfiSoft cushion. AirFit N30i does not feature a ComfiSoft cushion.
- Source: Resmed conducted a pooled analysis of six external randomized crossover clinical studies evaluating the ComfiSoft fabric mask systems (AirTouch N30i, AirTouch F30i and AirTouch F40) in comparison to their silicone variant mask systems (AirFit N30i, AirFit F30i and AirFit F40). Across the six studies, 167 adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)using PAP therapy for at least 3 to 6 months were enrolled with 158 completing their respective studies. Participants trialed a ComfiSoft fabric mask system and the corresponding silicone variant mask system in randomized order for up to seven nights each, and completed questionnaires assessing mask comfort, seal, usability, overall performance and preference. Objective PAP therapy data were collected from AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 devices. The studies were conducted in Sydney, Australia, between September 2020 and October 2025. Comparable launch periods were evaluated, covering FY19 Q3 to FY20 Q4 for AirFit N30i and FY25 Q2 to FY26 Q3 for AirTouch N30i. Cushion resupply was assessed using the cushion-to-mask ratio, calculated as cushion units divided by mask-system plus frame-system units. Across the first six launch quarters, the aggregated cushion-to-mask ratio was 2.61 for AirTouch N30i and 2.33 for AirFit N30i, representing an 11.8% improvement, rounded to 12%. The study enrolled 36 adults who had been on PAP therapy for OSA (≥3 months) and were using other full-face masks, including the AirFit F20 (n=14), AirTouch F20 (n=8), AirFit F30i (n=7), Mirage Quattro (n=2), AirFit F30 (n=1), AirFit F40 (n=1), F&P Vitera (n=1), Quattro Air Series (n=1), and Other (n=1).
