Looking forward to sleep
I never leave home without them … they are my S8 flow generator and Ultra Mirage™ II nasal mask by ResMed. Whether I am at home or traveling, my life is unquestionably better with the ResMed products together. My daily quality of life is greatly enhanced by the improved sleep I get each night using my ResMed products, which certainly aids in my long-term health. Quite simply, my S8 flow generator and Ultra Mirage II nasal mask are an unbeatable combination for function, ease of use and comfort. The true testament that my ResMed products are better together is that I actually look forward to putting on my mask and going to sleep. Other products that I have tried from various manufacturers have left me frustrated and unable to receive a good night's sleep. Thankfully after a lot of trial and error, I was able to find the right combination of products designed by ResMed. The S8 flow generator allows me many options to customize my continuous air flow to my own breathing pattern, while the integrated humidifier enhances the air that I breathe. The Ultra Mirage II mask design is comfortable and unobtrusive, allowing me to wear the mask all night without interruption. This combination of S8 flow generator and Ultra Mirage II mask has allowed me to get the best sleep I have had in many years. As an added bonus, my wife tells me that she now gets a good night’s sleep without the interruptions from my snoring. Thank you ResMed for creating the S8 flow generator and Ultra Mirage II nasal mask, our lives are indeed better together.

ResMed is my lifesaver
Well, here I am, age 84 and still kicking, thanks to ResMed. Obstructive sleep apnea is the culprit and ResMed is my lifesaver. I was diagnosed with this life-threatening problem over three years ago and had a hard time adjusting to the equipment. I also apparently yanked the mask off my face while I was asleep. I was quite discouraged, but somehow persevered and finally learned to cope. Looking back now, I realize that ResMed constantly strove to improve their equipment and make life easier for their patients. As a result, the flow generator and heated humidifier now made into one are very compact. They are also computerized, easier to clean, lightweight, very quiet and very dependable. Mine has become my friend. I truly appreciate your commitment to continuously making the quality of life better for all us sleep apnea sufferers. It’s nice to be able to say thank you.

Helps me get a good night’s sleep
Several months ago I revisited my sleep clinic to make sure everything was okay. I had been getting about five hours of sleep per night and was usually tired and sleepy during the day. My testing turned out okay, but in the process I learned about the all-in-one ResMed flow generator that included the water container and heater. I had to have it because it was so much more convenient than the two separate units I had been using. I also became aware of the new ResMed mask that looked very simple to use and had an open view. I purchased the mask and the new ResMed flow generator. The results were fantastic. I now get six to seven hours of sleep per night and I feel so much better during the day. Because of the mask construction I can turn onto either side without waking or moving it out of place. I have tried other flow generators and masks, but none give me the quality night’s sleep that I get from my ResMed flow generator and mask.

Kept the happiness alive
The ResMed company has kept the happiness in our marriage alive and well. About five years ago my husband started to snore, and being a light sleeper, I almost wanted to kick him to the bright shining moon. He was very reluctant to do anything about it because he was apprehensive about surgery. Finally, after sleeping in separate rooms for three years, I convinced him that there had to be help somewhere. He visited a physician and decided to do a sleep study. Sure enough, he was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He was fitted with a CPAP mask and machine. It took some getting used to, but sleeping each night in separate rooms was pushing us further and further apart. After three weeks or so, my husband asked if he could come back to our bedroom to see if things would be better. Needless to say, he is still there and our bond is stronger than ever. We have been married 34 years, and this invention has saved us. We take it wherever we travel - Alaska, Carribean, Poland - and it’s very easy to pack. ResMed has given us documentation to carry and a convenient carry case to get through all security at the airports. Thank you to ResMed for our CPAP mask and machine. My husband and I are getting our rest and our marriage has become a treasury of great times. Our three daughters are amazed and comment all the time about how happy we seem to be in the last few years. With the help of ResMed, we will leave them the many memories of two happy people!

Personally and professionally
I have been a customer of yours in two very important ways. I have been a sleep tech who has had the pleasure of using ResMed equipment, including ResControl™, CPAP, VPAP™, AutoSet™ and masks. They are superior in every way to the competition. When given a choice, I will always choose ResMed. Recently, I have been the subject of a diagnostic sleep study. The results were a request for a second study, which included a CPAP titration. The outcome of that study is that I am now using a CPAP at home. I was determined to use an S8 CPAP, even if my provider did not offer one. I was pleased to learn that ResMed products were the products of choice with my provider. At present, I am using an S8 Escape™ with a Mirage Activa™ nasal mask. I have also used the Mirage Swift™ nasal pillows. I have found both masks to be of superior design and performance to anything else on the market. Professionally, I was always better together with ResMed products. Now, personally and at home, I am again better together with ResMed. Thank you for your leadership in the design and development of these products. Because of this leadership, many people are better together with ResMed.
