InfinitySeal cushion technology

After more than 25 years of ResMed masks featuring dual-wall cushion technology, we’re excited to introduce InfinitySeal™ cushion technology. It’s the secret behind the AirFit N20’s remarkable fit range (99% of patients1) and the most adaptive silicone cushion we’ve ever designed. It also features specially-designed loops and varying thickness levels designed to prevent blowout, in order to create a secure seal and prevent mask leaks.

No rules fit

The AirFit N20 was designed to be so easy to put on and use that you don’t necessarily need specific fitting instructions or “rules.” The secret is in the simple, modular design and magnetic clips, which guide the mask’s headgear to its frame quickly and easily.

AirFit N20 for Her

We’re committed to providing the most personalized mask experience possible. That’s why we proudly offer for Her versions of our AirFit F20 mask, featuring stylish lavender accents and a smaller size range.

Sizing the AirFit N20

  1. To comfortably fit a broader range of patients, AirFit N20 features an entirely new cushion design. To make crosswalking your existing patients easier, we recommend using our sizing guide – included in each AirFit N20 box and specifically designed to help patients find the right fit.
  2. The sizing guide has three cut-outs: small, medium and large. Find the size that most comfortably accommodates your patient. The modular design of AirFit N20 means each size cushion easily clicks into the same N20 mask frame.
  3. You can also download a copy of our sizing guide here.

Fitting the AirFit N20

  1. Unclip magnetic clips.
  2. With your patient holding the mask towards their face, slide the headgear over the back of their head.
  3. Reclip the magnetic clips.
  4. Once your patient’s headgear and mask are properly fitted, you can use the upper and lower headgear straps to help fine-tune their fit. The upper headgear straps provide most of the adjustment. The lower headgear straps can be used to gently tighten a patient’s mask.
  5. For additional information on mask maintenance and care, you can also visit the Supporting your patients section for more videos.

Managing leak with an AirFit N20

  1. Leak often occurs when a mask’s seal is compromised by movement, incorrect fitting or improper sizing.
  2. To find a source of leak, run your finger along the edge of your mask’s seal. Once located, adjust the headgear.
  3. Resolve any leak in the upper part of the mask by adjusting the upper straps.
  4. Resolve lower mask leak with the lower straps.
  5. If leak persists, reseal by briefly pulling the mask away from your patient's face and letting the cushion reinflate.
  6. If leak continues, your patient may need a different size mask. Try our sizing guide or use a different size mask.
