ResMed service training

 

We’re passionate about training those who work with our products, and we’re happy to provide instructor-led courses, taught by certified ResMed service specialists, to help you learn more about our products and how to service them.

After submitting your application, a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss details, including pricing information. All travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the customer.

Courses offered

Maximum occupancy at the training facility is 10 occupants for Track 1 and 8 occupants for Track 2. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All classes are 1 day except for Astral, which is a two day course. They range from 1–2 business days in length from 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications

  • Hospital or healthcare facility with a biomedical or service staff servicing only their own ResMed equipment
  • An account in good standing as well as a distribution agreement with ResMed
  • Participants should have a basic understanding of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and/or mechanical ventilation and a minimum of six months experience in servicing medical devices, preferably SDB products and/or mechanical ventilators.

Requirements

  • One training application per account must be filled out prior to attending the class
  • A ResMed servicing agreement will be signed by each facility performing repairs on ResMed devices. This agreement will be required prior to beginning training in order to attain a training certificate to service the devices and order spare parts.
  • Participants must attend entire class, and pass an assessment administered at the end of the course to receive certification.
  • Work laptop, if available
  • Software requirements: (XP or Windows 7 32-bit); administrator rights required to install service software

Cancellations:

Participants should submit a cancellation to ResMed a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the course. ResMed will notify participants if a course is canceled 14 days prior to the start of a course. The participant will be given priority seating for the next offering if ResMed has to cancel a course.
