VPAP Adapt is designed to provide noninvasive ventilatory support to patients weighing more than 30 kg with OSA caused by central and/or mixed apneas and periodic breathing.
With its clinically-proven Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) algorithm, VPAP Adapt also caters for Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR).
The device also maintains stable minute ventilation and provides just enough support during stable breathing for maximum comfort.
ASV has been used for more than 10 years to treat patients with periodic breathing. Extensively researched, clinical evidence confirms the benefits of this therapy in these patient groups.
